Personal customer emails, with a human at the button
Personal contact with regular customers is worth its weight in gold — but by hand it barely scales. For our own webshop we built a solution that drafts personal one-to-one emails and gets them ready. A human approves and sends. Never automatically.
The situation
A warm, personal email to a regular customer works wonders: a recommendation that really fits, in a tone that suits the shop. But with hundreds of customers, in practice you never get around to it. It stays a good intention.
Full automation is tempting, but then you lose exactly what matters: the personal touch. So we deliberately chose a different route — AI does the groundwork, the human holds the pen.
A concept that's ready to go
For a regular customer, AI drafts a personal email: tuned to earlier purchases, with a recommendation that fits, in the shop's own tone. The concept is ready — you only need to read it, tweak it if you like, and send.

Fits the customer
The recommendation matches what someone chose and enjoyed before — not a generic newsletter, but a tip that holds up.
In the shop's tone
The email sounds like the shop itself: warm and personal, not like a marketing machine.
You hold the pen
Every concept is editable. Nothing goes out before a human has approved it.
Why the human stays at the button
We could have fully automated this. We deliberately didn't. With personal contact, human judgement isn't a cost — it's the core of the value.
Trust
A customer notices the difference between a real message and an automated one. The approval step keeps it real.
Control
You decide who gets which email and when. No accidents, no messages you don't stand behind.
Scale without distance
The groundwork is gone, so you can reach many more people personally — without becoming impersonal.
AI and human, each at their strongest
The machine does the volume, the human the judgement — keeping both speed and quality.
AI drafts the concept, a human sends it
AI does the time-consuming part: working out what fits whom and drafting a personal email in the right tone. The human does the valuable part: reading, sensing whether it's right, and sending. Built this way on purpose — you don't hand personal contact over to a machine.
The result
Personal customer contact that scales without becoming impersonal. More regular customers feel genuinely seen, in a fraction of the time — better service, and because AI does the groundwork, at a lower cost.
